Tubal sterilization
This is NOT a reversible method. If you want to get pregnant after you get your tubes tied, you will need fertility treatment. Medicaid does not cover fertility treatment. These treatments are expensive, and the ability to have children is not guaranteed.
Vasectomy

This is NOT a reversible method. If you want to have children after having a vasectomy, you will need fertility treatment. Medicaid does not cover fertility treatment. These treatments are expensive. Reversal is more likely with vasectomy than tubal sterilization, but the ability to have children is not guaranteed.

Arm implant

Can be removed at any time, but removal requires the help of a clinician. You could get pregnant as soon as one week after the implant is removed.

Hormonal IUD

Can be removed at any time; some people ask a clinician to remove it, some do it themselves by pulling the threads. You could get pregnant as soon as the IUD is removed.

Non-Hormonal IUD

Can be removed at any time; some people ask a clinician to remove it, some do it themselves by pulling the threads. You could get pregnant as soon as the IUD is removed.
